Processing Times
Timings should be used as a guideline and adjusted according to the client's hair type and how the hair responds during processing.
Lash Lifting
- Fine: 5–7 minutes
- Normal: 7–9 minutes
- Coarse: 9–11 minutes
Eyebrow Lamination
- Fine: 4–5 minutes
- Normal: 5–7 minutes
- Coarse: 8–10 minutes
Please note: Step 2 should always mirror the processing time used for Step 1. Timings may vary when a film or wrap is used.
Visual Assessment
Active assessment is important throughout the treatment. For lash lifting, a gentle bend test can help assess processing:
- U shape: May require additional processing time.
- V shape with a clear kink: Indicates the lash may be ready for Step 2.
For eyebrow lamination, check the movement and flexibility of the brow hairs throughout Step 1 and adjust the timing where necessary.
TGA vs Cysteamine
TGA is generally stronger and faster acting, making it suitable for coarse, stubborn or downward-growing hair when used correctly.
Cysteamine generally processes more slowly and is considered less invasive, although it can be more reactive for some clients.
The conditioning benefits come from the additional nourishing ingredients within the formula rather than the active ingredient alone.
Please note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, patch test as required and adjust processing times according to the individual client's hair type and response.
