Hi, I’m Maria. I just want to tell you a little of my story and what steered me to where I am now.

Growing up in a family of four boys (I was second in line) and without sisters, I was always regarded as one of them—especially as I got up to as much mischief, if not more, than the boys. Often I went to bed in a pair of blue pjs or, if I was lucky, a blue top and pink bottoms. It didn’t end there… Mum didn’t like to waste and always recycled, lol! However, there was always the "girl about town" waiting to emerge.

I had my daughter, Niamh, at 20, so my ambitions had to be set aside, and I worked mainly in sales for the next few years. I do think this prepared me for what I do now. I love meeting, greeting, and socialising, and I have a passion for fashion and makeup. When the time was right, I trained and specialised in brow and lash treatments, which I’ve worked in for the past eight years. I love this industry, and with much experience and insight, I am over the moon to introduce my own growing brand: TILLY LASH.

Teddy and Lilly (my maternal grandparents) played a huge role during my early years. What better way to keep them in my heart than by naming my new venture a combination of both their names: TILLY.
